Black 13 Tattoo is set to host its third annual LIVE event on October 24th 2015. LIVE is a family friendly event based around the arts to support those living with cancer. For the third year in a row, B13 will host the event in Cummins Station and our proceeds will to go to support Nashville’s own Women Rock For The Cure. From Noon to 9PM, Black 13 artists will tattoo pre-designed art at set prices on a first come, first served basis with one hundred percent of the proceeds going to Women Rock. We’ve been fortunate enough to raise over $25,000 in the past two years and we’re looking forward to an even bigger year for 2015.
Women Rock For The Cure is committed to connecting and supporting young women facing breast cancer. The 501(c)(3) organization works to build awareness and provide outreach programs through the power of the entertainment industry. All proceeds benefit the organization’s outreach efforts, including the Young Survivors Retreat, which brings together young women diagnosed with breast cancer. Along with the retreat, flagship annual events include the Pink Trash Ball and the Opry Goes Pink concert, which has featured performances by The Judds, Martina McBride, Kellie Pickler and Carrie Underwood. Along with tattooing, we have musical performances, a kids zone, and this year we will feature a handful of local artists in a vendor style setup throughout the hallway inside Cummins Station. Please make plans to join us!
